Spa Director

Bella Santé Spas in Boston is searching for a sharp, energetic, fun, and experienced Spa Manager to join our dynamic team. Please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications. While this is our ideal list, we will consider candidates that do not necessarily have all the qualifications, but have sufficient experience, talent, and personality!

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage scheduling, and training programs for the front desk and technical staff 
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings and departmental meetings
  • Assists all team members in guest services, and communications as needed in their daily responsibilities
  • Oversee department functions including short and long-term planning, day-to-day operations 
  • Provide input into and execute strategic plan consistent with the quarterly and annual business goals
  • Monitor, document, and notify the Vice President of Bella Sante of any challenges that may impact or jeopardize the achievement of current or future departmental objectives
  • Review quarterly location reports to determine gain or loss in profit margin and determine how to correct or justify
  • Conduct timely staff meetings to review employee concerns, needs, or new initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in Spa strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in supervision, training, and staff evaluation
  • A minimum of four (4) years of managerial and/or project management experience strongly preferred
  • Flexible, strategic team player with high integrity and ethical standards
  • High Emotional Intelligence
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle pressure well, self-motivated, and very detail-oriented
  • Ability to carry out assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
